Malacanang fires up Filipino athletes to bring home AIMAG medals

Some of the athletes representing the Philippine delegation to the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Turkmenistan on September 16-27 went to Malacanang on Wednesday for a courtesy call with Executive Secretary Salvador Medialdea.

The contingent of 105 athletes from 17 sports will be aiming to surpass the 2014 Incheon performance of one gold and two bronze medals.
President Duterte is extending his support to our team bound for the Aimag,” said Medialdea. “Bring home those medals and make the country proud.”
