POC affirms Ju-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines Recognition

Ju-Jitsu Asian Union secretary general Dr. Jafer Muthafer recently paid the Philippine Olympic Committee a visit and said that the country is a strong contender in the coming Asian Games.

Muthafer met with POC president Ricky Vargas along with POC chairman Bambol Tolentino and secretary general Patrick Gregorio on Thursday during the POC executive board meeting at Olympic body’s offices inside the Philsports complex in Pasig City.

According to Muthafer, the JJAU is recognizing the group of Ju-Jitsu Federation of the Philippines president Choy Cojuangco as the legitimate national sport association for ju-jitsu in the Philippines, which Vargas and the entire POC board readily affirmed.
