The Philippines’ Margielyn Didal, again shone with her skateboard after ruling the PRO street at the 2018 Exposure All Women skateboarding championships in San Diego, California.

It was Didal’s first time to compete in the “Exposure”, dubbed Women’s Benefit Event that brings opportunity and visibility to women who embody courage and strength.

More than 170 female skateboarders from around the world participated and Didal topped them all.

The daughter of a carpenter and kwek-kwek vendor in Cebu rose to prominence by winning the gold medal women’s street skateboarding in the recent Asian Games in Indonesia.

She was showered with praises and cash rewards after her win and was given a brand-new house and lot by the government.

Didal’s ultimate dream is to participate in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and probably, the gold is not far from her reach.
